Fence Project

Spirits Alive and an anonymous donor provided the funds for the city to contract with StandFast Works Forge to make the Congress Street fence look beautiful and be more secure.

The fence was donated to the cemetery in 19081 as Portland High School had undergone renovations making it up for grabs. See a photo of the fence in front of the high school in 1900. All of our fence photos can be seen in our Flickr set.
