Another thing we did during the Stone Conservation Workshop at the Eastern Cemetery on Saturday, September 22, 2007 was to create a concrete base for resetting a headstone. This is the base that workshop attendees created under the tutelage of Fred Oakley of the Association of Gravestone Studies. He constructed the wooden form and let the attendees do the work with the concrete.
