This is the stone from the oldest known grave in the Eastern cemetery. Complete with a winged skull effigy, it is inscribed with these words: "Here lyes y Body of M Mary Green y Dau of Cap Nathaniel & M Mary Green of Boston Aged 54 years.... She died on May 23, 1717."
