Carvers: The Lamsons

There was a family with several generations of stone carvers named Lamson who worked in Charlestown, MA. They included Joseph (1658–1722), and two of his sons, Nathaniel (1692–1755) and Caleb (1697–1760). His grandsons Joseph (1728–1789) and John (1732–1776) were also in the business. Great-grandsons Joseph (1760–1808), David (?), Caleb (1760–1824) and Samuel (1773–1818) round out the family dynasty.
