Lectures are free, but Spirits Alive appreciates your donations. Lectures are located at Glickman, Room 103 (March lecture: 7th Floor Events Room) next to the Wishcamper Center on the University of Southern Maine (USM) Portland Campus and free parking is available in the garage there.

PHD Program Begins

Now is your chance to spend 9 mornings learning how to be a great history volunteer and visiting sites where you may use your new knowledge. Applications for the Portland History Docents (PHD) program are now being accepted. Find out what the schedule looks like and apply today at the PHD website. Spirits Alive is proud to be one of the collaborating  organizations for this annual event. We have welcomed many great volunteers who have graduated from this program into our web of docent, conservation, and photography arms.
